Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro may be launched as Redmi Note 3 at Tuesday event
Xiaomi has yet again teased fans an image which suggests that the much anticipated Redmi Note 2 Pro might actually be launched under a different name. The tip from the teaser image suggests the Redmi Note 2 Pro might launch as the Redmi Note 3 at the company’s event slated for Tuesday.
Xiaomi over the weekend teased a picture from its Weibo account which translates to “Major news: next Tuesday released Note3 # # redrice. I think you’ll like it.” although th image doesn’t mention any other information about the handset but Tuesday being the Grand Finale of the event announce last week by the smartphone company, it is expected that the company will do it big and also there are indications that the company could launch its smartwatch on Tuesday also.
The Redmi Note 2 Pro as confirmed by the smartphone company is expected to feature a metal body and also a fingerprint scanner right under the dual tone LED flash which is a little below the camera sensors indicated in a teaser released on Weibo. According to Tenaa listing, the smartphone who’ll feature a 5.5-inch full HD display and will be powered by a MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 16GB with a 13MP rear facing camera and a 5MP camera on the front panel. The smartphone is also expected to come running on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
