Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro is sporting a rear-facing fingerprint scanner
Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 2 device sometimes ago into the smartphone market, precisely August. The year has not even then ended before news started to make the rounds that Xiaomi is planning to create an aluminum clothed version of the device which would feature some nice improvement and be called the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro.
These rumors have started to gain traction as this device has been heavily leaked in previous weeks and days, leading to the knowledge of a lot of specifications and even, a peek to the images of the device.
The most recent leak has shown the back panel cover of the soon to be released Redmi Note 2 Pro device which features two hollow compartments that agree with the camera and fingerprint sensor convention. Should this hold true, this device would be the first from Xiaomi to get a fingerprint scanner.
The Redmi Note 2 Pro would be, according to rumors, a 5.5 inch device which packs a resolution of 1080 x 1920. There’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor on board and an Octa-core CPU which is clocked at 2GB of RAM. There’s an Adreno 416 GPU to process your graphics likewise and, a couple of 13MP and 5MP rear and front cameras. A 3060mAh of battery is beneath the phone to keep your lights on.
With the device rumored to come in two variants, the major difference would be the presence of a 3GB RAM and a 32GB of internal storage space instead of the aforementioned specifications. The former would reportedly sell for $173 while the latter would cost $236.
