Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro sold out in seconds
Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, introduced the Redmi Note 5 Pro into the market and could not believe the acceptance as the smartphone sold off in seconds.
The smartphone was introduced into its first flash sale and was reported to have sold over 300,000 units in India in less than three minutes.
According to enraged fans who took to their social media platform on Twitter, the smartphone sold out in 10 seconds leaving others unable to get a unit of the smartphone and some others, cancelled orders.
The record shows that the Redmi Note 5 Pro;s flash sale which has been described as the “biggest sale in the history of smartphones” according to Xiaomi India will be widely accepted once released into the global market.
The smartphone which will be going on yet another flash sale on mi.com and Flipkart come February 28 comes into the market in four color variants of Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, Light Blue and Black.
The smartphone priced at INR13,999 ($215/€175) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variant and INR16,999 ($261/€212) for the 6GB RAM variant is expected to sell out also in the upcoming falsh sale.
