Xiaomi Redmi Note launched in Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia in tow
Xiaomi has refreshed it’s foreign campaign in Hong Kong where it just launched the madly low-priced Redmi Note.
The hot-selling smartphone will be available in the Hong Kong market at just $1,239 HKD — that’s about $159 in US dollars.
Singapore is the next destination of the dual-SIM smartphone which was announced in March. In the Asian country, the Redmi Note will be retailed at S$199 (about $154 USD) starting from July 8.
The phone will be available in Malaysia at RM509 ($157) from release. The price differences are affected by country-specific tax policies which Xiaomi had earlier explained.
Xiaomi Redmi Note (also known as Xiaomi Hongmi Note) has a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution, 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 CPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage which can be expanded via a memory card slot that is available in the device. Read the full specs if the Xiaomi Redmi Note here.
