Xiaomi to release Note 2 variant with metallic build, name it Note 2 Pro
Everyone is releasing their own metal clad smartphones and Xiaomi wants an invite to the club likewise. Chinese Brand, LeTv released the latest device (fourth actually) in its line of Le smartphone series – the Le 1S – and it featured a very nice metal uni-body. Meizu was not left behind too, making the metallic version of their M2 Note device. Xiaomi has then decided not to play tag anymore and launch its own metal-clad Xiaomi device likewise.
The Xiaomi device to be made metal-clad is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2. This metal clad version has been aptly named the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro and is expected to hit the market next month, hopefully.
As far as specifications go, we shouldn’t really see something different between this device and its predecessor, coming with a 5.5 inches of display, an Helio X10 chipset under the hood and 32GB of internal storage memory. It is also expected to sport a fingerprint sensor on its back like the cool ones we see on the Nexus 6Ps
