Xiaomi sells a record 500,000 Redmi devices in India in just 72 hours
Xiaomi would be smiling to the bank currently now and would also be thanking their stars for the timeliness of the release of their latest device in the market, none other than the Redmi 3S plus which has also added to the list of their Redmi devices.
Today, their Indian arm announced that the Chinese company has been able to successfully sell more than half a million units of its Redmi line-up of devices in the Indian region in just three days, representing a huge turnout in what is currently India’s festive sales across the major online retailers in the country.
If we estimate this record by the total of 72 hours that is inherent in three days, this means that a second does not go by without two Redmi devices having been sold. The company also gave some insights into how its devices did on some of the online retailers, stating that the Redmi 3S championed its sales on FlipKart while Amazon was ruled by the Redmi Note 3.
For those who may not be aware at this point, the aforementioned due are not the only ones offering festive sales in the country as Snapdeal and Tata Cliq aren’t left out.
