Xiaomi shifts launch date for Redmi Pro from 8th to 6th August.
Xiaomi has already been successful in gathering enough people to attend their unveiling event for the Redmi Pro which was initially scheduled for the 8th of August and now, there is good news for these people because the manufacturer has decided to pull the date forward and end the quest for an official unveiling soon enough.
New promotional images have started to show up online which gives us reason to believe that they have now shifted the date to two days before the older one and the launch is now set to hold on the 6th of August instead. With the device to be released in 8 major cities of China first, it is believed that sales would start as fast as 10am of the local time. The cities thus listed for sale are Beijing, Shanghai, Nanj Jinan, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, and Zhengzhou.
As soon as the device enters the market, there is bound to be the addition of even more cities sand countries but right now, we cannot confirm anything. Note that the first 50 customers to purchase a unit also get a freebie alongside their package, and we think a Xiaomi Mi Band 2 may be at play here.
