Xiaomi teases the RedMi Pro ahead of July 27 event
Xiaomi is looking to unveil a new smartphone later this month – precisely on the 27th day of this July – and although they haven’t even given much if a hint as to the name, make or the specification of the device to be launched, there is reason to believe from their official teaser that was just released that the device would go on to bear the name “Redmi Pro”.
In the past, this Asian OEM has used the Redmi name judiciously especially when it came to catering for the mid-range market and this makes the possibility of the announcement of this kind of device high.
From the results that could be obtained from GeekBench about this device, all indications point to an android device that would run on a MediaTek processor and not just anyone but the all new and very powerful 10 core Helio X25 MT6797T. for now, little information is known but then, the device is surely coming out with a 4GB of RAM, one of the standard specifications for a 2016 device.
Till then, all we can do is wait.
