Xiaomi to unveil another device on December 9
Xiaomi has sent in an invite of a media event which will hold in China on the 9th of December 2014 (Tuesday). While we don’t know what’s in the package for the event yet, the invitation translates something like “Up In The Wind Together”, from the Chinese inscriptions on the card.
The most related device we can link to the event might perhaps be the recently-rumored second Mi Pad which sources in China claim to be having a $100 price tag.
Specs reported for the tab includes a 9.2″ 1280 x 720 pixels touchscreen paired with 1GB of RAM and a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
Xiaomi’s VP of international recently confessed that his company is interested in making Android One devices with Google. “We’re huge fans of Android One, and we want to be part of it. It’s just a matter of time, timing and other details, but we’d definitely like to get to it,” Hugo Barra said.
