Xiaomi unwraps the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime in India
Xiaomi has recently taken the wraps off of their new Redmi 3S smartphone and this one has a major selling point much like all of the other devices sold by the company. Asides the fact that it packs very impressive specifications to make your mouth water, they have made the device super affordable so you don’t have to sweet much to own one. Launching the Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime in India today, both variants of the device would be made commercially available from Flipkart by 12PM of the local time today.
For those who don’t know, the new Redmi 3S and Redmi 3S Prime are the next in line after the launch of the Redmi 3 and because of this, they take after their older sibling a lot on terms of design. Both also have the same specs in some areas, both carrying a 5-inch screen and using the new QUALCOMM snapdragon 430 under the hood. Both of them have the same battery power at 4100mAh also and the cameras are not different also with 13MP on the back of both and a 5MP setup in front.
As regards pricing, the Redmi 3S would be going for a price of Rs 6999 (around $105) and its sibling, the Redmi 3S Prime would go for Rs 8,999 (about $135)
