Xolo Q900S listed on company’s website for INR 9,999
Xolo seems to be on fire with with the introduction of it’s second smartphone this week and the phone is among many the Indian company has introduced this month alone.
Most Indian phone producers seem to have the same quality of producing a lot of phone models under a short period of time. Take for example Micromax. The Indian market leader has over a dozen devices under it’s name this month alone.
Speaking of the Xolo Q900S, it copies the framework of the company’s first Windows Phone that was introduced last month, the Xolo Win Q900S, and both phones share the same 100 grams of weight, making them the two lightest smartphones in the world currently. But that should be no more after when Gionee launches Gionee GN9005 the with just 94 grams and 5mm thickness.
Back to the news, the new Xolo Q900S sports a 4.7-inch qHD display with Dragontrail scratch resistant glass technology. It has an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP secondary camera sits on the front, and don’t forget it has a LED flash at the back.
Software-wise, the phone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean courtesy of a 1.2GHzCPU, Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset, and 1GB or RAM. The internal storage is 8GB and there’s space for expansion with a memory card.
The Xolo Q900S is available starting from today at the price of 9,999 Indian rupees which translates to about $166 using the current exchange rates.
