Xperia E3 also in tow for Sony’s IFA massive launch
Sony is going to unveil a lot of products at the 2014 IFA which kicks off this week. Among the devices that will break cover is the Sony Xperia Z3 which is the company’s flagship, the smaller Xperia Z3 Compact, and then the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact. Sony is expected to unveil a new TV and camera on that day too.
As if that’s not enough, the Sony Xperia E3 is said to be in also tow for an IFA debut, which will see Sony have the highest number of products unveiled at the event.
Recently, the Xperia M2 (a different series of Sony mid rangers) got reincarnated with water-resistance, giving birth to the Sony Xperia M2 Aqua. This means that Sony is keen on pushing additional protection to it’s mid range smartphones as it ha done with the flagship phones and tablets and so the upcoming Sony Xperia E3 will probably feature dust and water resistance.
Alleged specs associated with the upcoming Xperia E3 includes a 4.8″ HD screen, 1.5GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS. The phone is said to be having a $200 to $300 pricing.
