Yu Yureka and Yureka Plus get Cyanogen 12.1 update
Yu Televentures after months of delay has on Sunday announced it started rolling out the Cyanogen 12.1 (Android 5.11 Lollipop) OS update to the Yu Yureka and the Yu Yureka Plus smartphones. The company’s founder Rahul Sharma on its official page posted “Getting ready for Diwali?, we just got a cracker for you . After three beta builds and final positive feedback from testers, we are officially releasing the 12.1 update for all YUREKA and YUREKA Plus users”.
The new OS Update is packed with new features and improvements such as the Smarter screen feature controlled by the LiveDisplay technology which adjusts user screen based on environmental conditions, the Fresh AudioFX with a new updated User Interface for consistency across all device, the Launcher which has been redesigned also for one-handed use, Cyanogen browser which loads web sites and delivers search results faster and more securely, the update also features more playback support of codecs for video and audio playback and also the latest Boxer powered experience which allows users to seamlessly share availability and schedule their appointments.
The Update can be installed manually or automatically. Automatic update will notify users that the OS has been pushed to their respective device after which they can download and install while for those who haven’t recurred the update and are eager can check the settings option on their phone, navigate to the about phone tab, then to system update after which user can click on the check now option to manually check for device update.
