ZTE promises 5G-enabled smartphone by end of 2018
Tech company, ZTE, is reportedly set on releasing 5G-supported smartphones into the market before the end of 2018.
The tech company seems to be quite intent on moving forward ahead of schedule with plans for the 5G technology on mobile devices.
The 5G-technology when launched by the tech company will go a long way in expanding the mobile business of the tech company across the globe and especially in the U.S.
Speaking on the promise, the ZTE’s Chief Executive Officer, Lixin Cheng, confirmed the company’s plans to launch the 5G capabilities in the United States at the end of 2018 or in early 2019.
The ZTE’s top official made this known in an interview granted to Bloombeg which shows that the tech company is not afraid to make bold statemtns in terms of technology and expansion.
Recall that the tech brand last year released its first foldable smartphone, the ZTE Axon Multy with dual displays.
